PANTHER Data Overview
This diagram illustrates the relationships between different data types in PANTHER. The core of PANTHER is the library of Hidden Markov Models. Protein sequences from other databases (RefSeq and FlyBase) are scored against these HMMs, a fast computational process that allows PANTHER to remain in synch with these genomic resources.
