PANTHER Pathways version 1.2 released- 24 new pathways, now 107 total
- new pathways include:
- serotonin metabolism and signaling pathways
- corticotropin-releasing factor receptor signaling pathway
- sulfate assimilation
- lipoate biosynthesis
- Pre-calculated classifications for human, mouse and rat genes updated
- Entrez Gene and RefSeq data now from NCBI's Jan. 11, 2006 release
- Celera genes, proteins, transcripts now from Celera final release
- FTP access to PANTHER data files
- Classification files for human, mouse, rat and Drosophila proteins, transcripts and genes
- PANTHER Pathway data files (SBML files and component associations including references)
- UniProt-PANTHER mapping file: PANTHER classifications for all UniProt proteins
- Gene expression tools updated
- Streamlined User Interface
- Users can now upload their own PANTHER classification data for analysis (e.g. from the UniProt-PANTHER mapping file)
- Users can still use the pre-calculated PANTHER classification data for human, mouse, rat and Drosophila genomes
- Coding SNP scoring tool updated
- In addition to the subPSEC score, a probability of deleterious effect arising from a single amino acid substitution is now calculated from data calibrated over many disease-associated human mutations
