PANTHER 6.1 released- PANTHER version 6.1 is an improved version of 6.0 with better defined subfamily models. The new version contains:
- 5546 family models
- 24582 subfamily models
- PANTHER Pathways version 1.31 released
- PANTHER Pathway 1.31 updates the sequences associated with the existing 130 pathways with training sequences in PANTHER 6.1. The new version contains:
- 130 pathways
- 2089 pathway components
- 19507 protein sequences directly linked to the pathway components
- 3858 references captured
- Additional PANTHER HMMs have been integrated into InterPro
- Pre-calculated classifications for UniProt proteins updated
- UniProt proteins now from release 8.9, released October 3, 2006
- Pre-calculated classifications for human, mouse and rat genes updated to PANTHER 6.1
